Creative Workshop (formerly called the Creative Co-op) The Creative Workshop formerly called the Creative Co-op will meet on the first Thursday of the month from Sept through June from 10 – 3 at the Scout Hall Youth Center, 28 Abbe Rd, E. Windsor, CT. This is a place where you can bring anything you want to work on or something you want to get help or instruction for. There is usually someone who can help you. Bring your art supplies, painting projects, beading supplies, sewing machine, knitting, quilting, spinning or craft project to the session. It is a good place to meet other creative people. There are plenty of tables, great lighting and several outlets, but please bring your own extension cord. There is no cost to attend and you can come and go at any time between 10 and 3 to suit your schedule. Bring your lunch and beverage. “Altered Couture” magazine is featuring two of my wearable art pieces, Medusa on a blue wool jacket and a cream sweater with a floral design on pages 49 and 50 in the 2008 fall issue. You can see these pieces in the wearable art section of my web site.
